Our fundraising event...

So last week my department hosted a fund raising event. We had a candy sale, two bake sales, $5 for jeans (wear jeans for a week, always a big hit), sold raffle tickets, a cake walk, and a elearning a thon (like a walk a thon). We raised $2,745. The money is going to Metrocrest Social Serives which will provide back to school supplies for children in the Carrollton/Farmer branch school district.

It was a very cool event and here are a few pics from when we turned over the "check" yesterday. :)

It was a fun week even though I ended up not being able to help as much as I wanted (training, yay training!) and it was for a great cause. :)
